Hello My Future Readers

Hello My Future Readers

I decided to dump out the articles I had posted on here, because some got too personal, and I disliked the negative tone in most of them. So, here we go, semi-blank slate. (BTW, I never could get into Tabula Rasa. I tried, but no.)

There’s been a lot more happening in my life late than has happened in a good while.

I sometimes get bored and once in a great while google myself and “Hello My Future Girlfriend” just to see what’s currently being said. I came upon an post on reddit where a user (Desidiosus) had suggested tracking me down and having me to an AMA (Ask Me Anything). This post was only a couple of days before I learned of reddit and registered there. I replied saying there was no need to track me down, because I was already there, but had no idea what an AMA was. Desidiosus sent me a reply telling me how to do one, and that’s what I did. You can find it here. I was kind of amazed at the quick response and overall positive tone from everyone. The few that questioned whether or not “Hello My Future Girlfriend” was indeed a meme were struck down rather swiftly.

I have let this get to my head a little, but I am enjoying the positive attention. One question asked was why I wasn’t attending ROFLCon. I replied that I hadn’t been invited, and a short while later I received my invitation. It’s kind of short notice. It also sounded like ROFLCon might not be able to help with travel arrangements. Supposedly I’ll hear next week whether or not it is in their budget. I’m basically a broke college kid, without the college this semester at least. I’m typically not one to ask for help, but I believe it would be a very positive experience for me to go to ROFLCon. If you’d like to donate or if you work for a company that might be interested in sponsoring me, I’d be happy to wear your shirt at the convention, be your advertising slave as it is, just as long as the shirt isn’t in bad taste.

Let me know what you would like to see in my blog.

MIKE! Good luck getting to ROFLCon. Everyone who wants to see him there should donate. You should promote your video more because if it gets on Break.com’s home page, YOU get paid! <3

You are very brave to post your personal life out there for all us uncontrolled masses to view. Be careful! You certainly turned into quite the hottie from that sweet, geeky boy. I wish you all the best and hope you find your dream man.
